The Book Club offers a virtual opportunity for intellectual engagement for educators and all those invested in the education and lives of Black students and students of color. While this is a space for the perspectives of Black and African-American scholar-educators, anyone with an open mind and the willingness to discuss and be challenged is welcome to participate.

The space for discussion will include this page as a forum along with our Facebook group and Twitter chats.  This allows for multiple points of entry into the conversations.  Participants do not have to be engaged in all three spaces as much of the conversations will be shared across the three media.

The general guiding questions for almost all of the texts are: How can I positively impact AA students and students’ of color education? How do we create and sustain positive cultures, and how can we motivate and inspire students to learn?
